A Little Bit About Our Organic Homegrown Avocados: We grow our Bacon avocados here on our ranch property in beautiful Santa Rosa Valley, CA. The size of our fruits varies between medium/large to extra/large. Bacon avocados are oval-shaped and have smooth, thin skin that is dark green in color. The flesh has a buttery, creamy texture. They are less oily than your traditional Hass avocados. Many believe Bacon avocados are far superior to Hass avocados – we believe it’s personal opinion. Why do you typically not see Bacon avocados in our grocery stores? This is due to their thin skin, which can be fragile and not conducive to shipping and handling. You may be able to find Bacon avocados at local Farmers Markets – however, these are widely known as specialty produce. What a treat!
Please note: We will harvest your avocados FRESH upon order. Our avocados take approximately 10-20 days to ripen off the tree. You will know when your avocados are ripe when they are very soft (not when they give “just a little” – remember, they do not have thick skin). Please be patient for best outcomes. Good things come to those who wait.
Yes, our avocados are grown organically in regenerative earth method soil - which means they are not all uniform. There may be slight variations/imperfections/blemishes. They still always taste delicious!
Complimentary freshly picked seasonal fruit! Depending on the what’s in season, you may find oranges, yellow grapefruits, ruby red grapefruits, lemons, kumquats, apricots, plums, plumcots, nectarines, peaches or Honey Crisp apples with your order. If we have extra, we will share!
$30 for 20 avocados ($1.50 each when you order 20 or more)
$12 for 6 avocados ($2 each when you order less than 20)
How It Works: Venmo/Zelle payment. Once your payment is received, we will place your order on our porch for safe contactless pick-up. Porch pick-up in Santa Rosa Valley, CA (close to Thousand Oaks, Camarillo, Moorpark and Simi Valley).
